This website gathers my personal notes, thoughts and references about percussive instruments made of steel. It's mainly about my interest for steel tongue drums, which led me to fall into a rabbithole of related instruments, most often as beautiful as they are confusing due to their relatively young history.

While I make electronic music has a hobbyist since many years, my music theory knowledge is quite limited, and I've never bothered to learn a real instrument -- until now. I'm no expert, just someone who'd like to share what I've found along my journey.
